All truck accidents claims in California must be filed within two years of the accident date, as per California’s Code of Civil Procedure 335.1. If a truck accident claim is filed after the two year mark, then the statute of limitations comes into effect and the court will dismiss the case and any attempt to recover compensation will also be thrown out.
